Home Euthanasia

We offer the same compassionate service regardless of your pet's size so we have one set fee for all.

£400

This includes:

  • Pre Appointment Discussion: A chat by message or over the phone to discuss your pet's quality of life and your wishes for the appointment.

  • Home Visit: A visit to your home or location of your choice. Your pet will be in their calm and familiar environment, surrounded by family and friends, including other pets if you wish.

  • Pre Euthanasia Sedation: We always give a pre-euthanasia sedation ensuring that your pet feels calm and free from pain and anxiety as you say goodbye, allowing for a peaceful transition.

  • Time to Say Goodbye: Our appointments are an hour long, providing the time and space for you to say your goodbyes without feeling rushed.

  • Compassionate Support Throughout: We are dedicated euthanasia professionals; we have undergone specialist training to ensure we can provide the most peaceful and gentle euthanasia for your pet, whilst supporting you through a time of intense grief.

  • Weekend and evening appointments: There is no surcharge for out of hour appointments, providing they are pre-scheduled.

    Note:

  • Aftercare Options: Cremations are charged seperately, dependant upon your wishes- please see below.

  • Out of  Area Travel: For locations beyond our standard service area, a surcharge may apply, please get in touch for more information.

  • Emergency Visits: We cannot guarantee that we will be able to accomodate emergency euthanasias, where we are able to assist, a surcharge may apply.

  • Prepayment: Payment is taken on the morning of the visit to enable us to focus completely on your pet during the appointment. This makes our pricing completely transparent; you know there will be no unexpected fees later on. It also gives us some security as a small business. We thank you for your understanding.

  • Postponement: We understand how difficult this decision can be, many people change their mind and reschedule. We deliberatly do not take deposits to allow clients to feel comfortable doing this. If you change your mind once the vet has left for the appointment, then we wil conduct an end of life consultation instead; see below.

£120

This includes:

  • Home Visit: A home visit to assess your pet, discuss their condition and treatment as well as their quality of life

  • Remote Support: Availability to discuss your pet's condition remotely after the appointment to help guide you as the time draws near.

  • What to Expect: A discussion about the euthanasia appointment itself, answering any questions you may have and alleviating any concerns.
  • Behaviour Modification: Anxious pets may benefit from meeting the vet ahead of time, whilst others will require medication to give before the euthanasia appointment itself, to easy any anxiety or aggression, making the final appointment as stress free as possible. We can prescribe these medications at this appointment. The cost of these medications are not included.

    Note:

  • Palliative Care: We are not set up to support palliative care at this time. We may make recommendations about your pet's treatment plan to improve their quality of life until their time comes, but we do not stock palliative care medication. If we feel your pet may benefit from further medications we will direct you back to your regular vets who will receive a full copy of our consultation notes.
